Revival and Then the Rapture

Jesus is coming soon. Yes, most of us have heard that most of our lives. Then, where is He? We read in Matthew 24:44 that He said, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” We don’t know when Jesus will come to take the believers home, but He is surely coming. There were many Old Testament prophesies that declared that a Messiah was coming. For example, in Isaiah 7:14, we read, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us).” We see that the Samaritan woman in John 4 said in verse 25, “…I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.” She was looking for him to come and so were many others. They must have wondered, too; “Then, where is He?” …But we know that He did come. Praise the Lord!

I have preached for 40 years that Jesus is coming; and that before He does, the greatest revival that has ever happened is coming first. I believe that with all my heart. I will preach it the rest of my days, even if I never experience it. I believe that there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit like has never been witnessed. We read in Joel 2 and Acts 2 that God tells us that He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh; and that our sons and our daughters shall prophesy, our old men shall dream dreams, and our young men shall see visions. He says that upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days that He will pour out His Spirit. “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month” (Joel 2:23).

God tells us in Hosea 5:15, “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.” We then read in the next three verses in Chapter 6, “Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning, and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” We know that Scripture tells us that a day can be as a thousand years. Well then, after “two days” or 2,000 years, our Lord promises to revive us. In the “third day” or moving toward the 3,000 years, He promises to raise us up, and we will live in His sight. Do we realize that it is the Year 2019, and we are now moving forward to the Year 3,000? Could it be that the three days actually mean three days? Then, we would see that there is a revival and then three days later, there would be the rapture. Obviously, we don’t know the time of the catching away, but we can know the season. This revival will be a quick work, then Jesus will come to take us home. I decree to you, this revival is upon us. Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.” We are asking for this outpouring of His Presence. Are you?
